Why bet on Vikings:

✅ The Colts are sticking with Matt Ryan at quarterback going forward, which is a problem for their chances of winning what will likely be a high-scoring game
✅ The Colts have a -89 point differential this season, one of the worst in the NFL, thanks in large part to the fact that they have a bottom-five scoring offense in the league
✅ The Vikings are coming off of a loss, but they looked good even in defeat, with Kirk Cousins throwing for over 400 yards against the Detroit Lions. Their offense will keep operating at a high level here

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts come into this game off of their bye week. The week before, they gave up 33 unanswered points in the fourth quarter against the Dallas Cowboys, turning what was a close game going into the fourth into a humiliating blowout loss. This week, the Colts will aim to bounce back from that defeat as they look to finish strong in the final month of the regular season.

The Colts will need to be better offensively if they want a chance to keep up with the high-powered passing attack of the Vikings. Indianapolis ranks 31st in the NFL in scoring, ahead of only the Denver Broncos on the season. They will need more than their 16.1 points per game average on the year if they want to keep this contest competitive.

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings come into this game off of a loss as well, having fallen last week to the Detroit Lions. They got over 400 passing yards from Kirk Cousins in that game, including over 200 yards to Justin Jefferson, but the defense of the Vikings let them down in a big way in Week 14. This week, Minnesota's inconsistent defense will have a chance to bounce back against one of the league's worst offenses.

Situationally, the Vikings do not have a lot of pressure on them at this point in time, as they have a comfortable lead in the NFC North standings. But they still have seeding considerations to address in their final four games of the year. A win against a less than stellar Colts team could help them stay among the NFC's top seeds going toward the postseason.
